The Perfume of Novelty

We think that about scent has been written too much, maybe everything.

<Many want to be original … few really are>, stylist’s Karl Lagerfeld words.

At Casalvento we believe in the technique we use because it is part of our daily life, we believe in our raw materials because of the highest quality, we believe in our culture because we built it day after day in years of study, but above all we believe in our imagination.

Maybe we are original because we are real.

The Perfume of an Artisan Reality

The scent gives us the pleasure to be ourselves, to propose ourselves to others as real, concrete and desirable beings. In the olfactory laboratory of Casalvento a fragrance that comes out of glass ampoules is like the cloud of the Genius by the Magic Lamp of Aladdin. A handcrafted manufacturing reality in which we put so much passion and all the experience we have.

Impalpable clouds that rest on the skin, fabrics, hair, leather and wood change our way we want to be.

At Casalvento the essences realize the best possible.

The Perfume in the Novel

“…For people could close their eyes to greatness, to horrors, to beauty, and their ears to melodies or deceiving words. But they could’t escape scent. For scent was a brother of breath. Toghether with breath it entered human beings, who couldn’t defend themselves against it, not if they wanted to live.

And scent entered into their very core, went directly to their hearts, and decided for good and all between affection and contempt, disgust and lust, love and hate.

He who ruled scent ruled the hearts of men.
