From March 2 to 5, 2017, at the beautiful Cicalino estate in Massa Marittima, we gave a report at the International Conference on Essential Oils organized by FIPPO.
An audience of enthusiasts, companies, entrepreneurs, and consultants enlivened the four-day event. Numerous Italian and international speakers contributed to the success of the meeting, engaging the audience in a friendly atmosphere.
Casalvento shared its experience with Dr. Lorenzo Dòmini, who presented a presentation titled “50 Years of Traditional Distillation in Tuscany.What Essence Will the Future Hold?” He described the company’s history, analyzed market trends, and outlined a possible path forward in this production sector, plagued by high production costs in Italy and unfair competition from foreign markets.
Being invited to give a presentation at an international conference encouraged us and convinced us that we are on a path of solid growth. Engaging with other European entrepreneurs and the many Italian producers in attendance proved interesting throughout the four days of the event organized by FIPPO.
